The Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics in Pisa.
The calendar of this year’s June celebrations in Pisa.
June is the first month of summer. The fields take on the typical golden color of the hot months, and poppies, lavender and yellow broom tinge the countryside. Bars and restaurants open their outdoor spaces and sagre and festivals animate villages and towns. Besides, June is definitely the month to be in Pisa.
A fabulous festival which makes for the perfect excuse to visit Pisa.
The rich program of the June events in Pisa. Don’t miss the walking tours and the night openings of the city’s monuments!
Every city has its special day on which the various neighbourhoods battle it out to be the best in town: well Pisans are especially competitive so they have two: Regatta of San Ranieri and Gioco del Ponte.
…for its most important festivals: La Luminara and San Ranieri. You can feel the city getting ready for the party. You can even smell it. You certainly should not miss this.
The city celebrates Giugno Pisano with a series of events, including the special opening of some beautiful churches at night!
June is the best time of the year to visit Pisa, because all the major events are concentrated in this month. Luminara di San Ranieri is a must-see.
