May music events in Tuscany
I am not a connoisseur of music but reading here and there I found some interesting stuff.
- Maggio Fiorentino: on the site there is a detailed list of events with the possibility to buy tickets. I think the 24 y.o. director Leo McFall’s debut on May 15th, with the rare Meeresstille und glückliche Fahrt by Behetoven could be interesting.
- Pisa Folk Festival, May 29 and 31, in Piazza Guerrazzi (unusual setting indeed).
- Perle Musicali, sacred music in the beautiful and little-known church of San Francesco in Pisa, May 17 (Medieval music at 4pm and Giacomo Puccini Night at 9pm) and May 23 (Carpe Diem at 9pm).
