Each spring, swallows return to the Tuscan skies, weaving through the air above vineyards and villages, building their delicate nests under ancient eaves.
If you need a reason to visit Tuscany in spring, here it is: blooming fruit trees. From late February through May, the countryside slowly becomes a patchwork of soft pinks, creamy whites, and sweet floral scents.
It’s been a long two years… Covid has indeed changed our lives immensely. Two years in which we have basically stopped travelling and, as holiday home owners, also stopped renting out. But now, we are back!
An update and a few reflections now that life has stopped going on as usual. All in all, we pay the fact that we are “us”.
Coronavirus is not (yet) a major concern in Tuscany. Life goes on as usual. This is my view on the topic, in the hope of answering many of the questions I have recently received.
