did you see that they have now discovered an Etruscan Domus - like, a whole, intact house - in Vetulonia? This isn't the same thing you're talking about right? So, TWO major archaeological discoveries in a week?

Ciao Alexandra, yes, the hot pools at Petriolo are still free. The hotel is amazing inside (they kept the same style as before and improved it), but I don't like the building very much. Too modern for the setting, but it very beautiful. The view from the pools is certainly breathtaking.

I would be very glad to collaborate for an archaeological itinerary. I am sure the association Odysseus would be very interested too. I don't know much about these things, but I find them very fascinating, so I really hope something will happen!

Looks like it would have been an interesting conference! I'd also like to see the inside of the rennovated hotel. Do you know if you can still swim for free below at the terme?

People might find useful my english article on Roselle as much info online is in italian: http://www.turismo.intoscana.it/allthingstuscany/tuscanyarts/roselle-roman-ruins-in-maremma/

I think an archaeological itinerary is a great idea. If they don't make one, why don't we collaborate to do it?
